My apartment vibrates, and I’m pretty sure it’s just due to construction, but I get really bad motion sickness just from being home which is a rather bad thing. Bleh. I’ll probably have to move again because I’ve hit a point where I have to leave my apartment most of the day if I don’t want to be sick that day. bleh bleh bleh.
There are so many people on tumblr. Just in terms of numbers, it’s likely that plenty of tumblr users will do really wonderful things like change the world, help people, adopt shelter animals, start a successful business, be good parents, make great art, write the next great novel, become rich and famous, etc.
How exciting! Remember me when you’re basically a superhero. I’ll be the one who has blue hair and five hundred cats.
hey if you see someone self-promoting themselves on my posts or anyone else’s posts, please don’t click the link to their blogs.
First of all, what they’re doing is super disrespectful, but more importantly almost every time I’ve checked out the blog of someone who self-promoted on a post of mine, their blog was super triggering and often insulting for people with anxiety + eating disorders, so just keep that in mind. I don’t want anything bad to happen to you because of my little doodles even if it’s due to circumstances that are beyond my control.
I still need one person to message me so I can confirm for whom I have to sign the book (so if you entered to get a copy of my book, you should check your messages just in case it’s you), but after that I can announce who gets a book! yay!
I’m going to pick who gets a free copy of my book soon! exciting! I’ll make a post about it + personally message whoever it is once I’ve decided.
I wish that I could send you all free copies, cookies, cats and other wonderful things, but shipping is expensive, so that’s just not a possibility.
I also wish that I could personally thank all of you for your interest in my book and for being kind enough to tell me happy things, but if I did that, I wouldn’t actually have time to draw and post on this blog today, so just know that I am super grateful and I think you’re all super amazing. I will, however, delete your messages as I don’t feel comfortable keeping a bunch of strangers’ addresses.
I’m too lazy to set up an author’s profile on goodreads, so here’s the deal if you want a free copy of my book
if you live in either Canada or the US *, send me a message before midnight (EST) tomorrow telling me 1- your shipping address 2- something about a person or a thing that you like / or something happy 3- if you want the book signed or not
and on friday, I’ll let you know who gets a copy of the book + a few extra doodles.
*Sorry if you live elsewhere. Shipping is expensive.
** DON’T REBLOG THIS POST. I just want this to be for the people who follow me + support my blog. This is my tiny way of saying thank you.
Reminder that today is the last day to get freeshipping on lulu (using the code FREESHIP) You can get my book here or if you want to support a tumblr user, but you don’t want my book (which is perfectly okay), you could check out Shinji Moon’s book of poems or Madeleine Flores’ Post-it Love Notes (which are basically the cutest thing ever).
I didn’t post yesterday due to a terrible headache, so I’m going to post tiny doodles all day. I hope all of you are doing well. *hugs you all*
I’m really into memoirs and biographies, and if there is anything that I’ve gotten from reading them so far, it’s that a lot of really successful people have suffered from anxiety and depression, and went on to do great and wonderful things anyway.
